BYD Flash Charger installation underway at Denza Balakong in Malaysia

Installation of a BYD Flash Charger is underway at Denza Balakong in Malaysia, with the T-shaped overhead structure and BESS enclosures already in place. The stations deliver up to 1.5MW and charge compatible EVs from 10% to 70% in 5 minutes; no launch date has been announced.

• Peak DC output of up to 1.5MW (1,500kW)
• 10% to 70% charge in 5 minutes, 10% to 97% in 9 minutes
• Each BESS cabinet holds 185kWh, 370kWh per station
• Chargers will be open to all EV brands, not just BYD and Denza
