AI agents to outnumber humans online by 2029, says executive

Convergence Partners chairman Andile Ngcaba told Digital Council Africa's Conext 2026 that AI agents will outnumber living humans on the internet within two to three years. He said AI innovation cycles have shrunk to days and weeks, and urged African regulators to support builders rather than copy European rules.
