NETSCOUT: DDoS attacks above 1Tbps surge 1,286% in 1H2026

NETSCOUT recorded 9.1 million DDoS attacks across 209 countries in the first half of 2026. Attacks exceeding 1Tbps or 1Gpps rose 1,286% year over year, and the company observed its first IPv6 attack above 1Tbps.
