DAMO unveils XuanTie E908A automotive RISC-V CPU IP for ASIL-B and ASIL-D

Alibaba's DAMO Academy introduced XuanTie E908A, an automotive RISC-V CPU IP core, at the RISC-V China Summit in Shenzhen on October 19, claiming it is the first to meet both ASIL-B and ASIL-D functional safety levels under ISO 26262. DAMO also published a roadmap whose next-generation C950A targets five times the performance of current automotive RISC-V products.
