Security firm Calif.io demonstrated an untethered iOS 27.0.1 jailbreak for the iPhone 18 Pro at the Hexacon event in Paris, with root access persisting after a reboot. No public release is planned, and compatibility with the iOS 27.2 beta is unconfirmed.

• The jailbreak was shown at Hexacon in Paris during the opening keynote
• Root access survives a reboot, so no computer connection is needed
• A root shell appears about two minutes after the iPhone boots
• No public release; iOS 27.2 compatibility is untested
