Samsung Bioepis wins 10-year Brazil supply deal for SB12

Samsung Bioepis signed a partnership with Brazil's Ministry of Health for exclusive 10-year supply of SB12 (eculizumab), a Soliris biosimilar, starting next year. The drug treats paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria and atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome; Brazil's eculizumab market is valued at about $170 million.
