Waymo aims to grow robotaxi fleet to 8K by year-end, 20K by 2027

Waymo plans to expand its self-driving fleet from 4,000 to 8,000 vehicles by the end of 2026 and to 20,000 by the end of 2027. The growth is backed by $5 billion in debt the company raised this month.
