Waymo Targets 2028 Toronto Launch with Element as Fleet Partner

Waymo announced on October 16, 2026 that it will bring its fully autonomous ride-hailing service to Toronto, its first Canadian market, with first riders expected in 2028. Element Fleet Management will run onsite fleet operations, including maintenance, charging and energy management. Vehicles will initially drive manually during a validation and mapping period.
