Windows 11 26H2 shares core with 25H2, installs via enablement package

Windows 11 26H2 runs on the same Germanium platform as 25H2 and installs on eligible PCs through an enablement package with a single restart. Many 26H2 features already exist in updated 25H2 builds, while the main draw for IT teams is the longer support lifecycle.

• 26H2, 25H2 and 24H2 share a common servicing branch
• Moving to 26H2 needs one restart via enablement package
• Sysmon and Administrator Protection are off by default
• Devices on 26H1 cannot upgrade to 26H2
