KAIST builds 24/7 unmanned synthesis platform with robots and light
Researchers at KAIST have developed an unmanned synthesis platform in which robots and light automatically handle the full cycle from mixing reagents to synthesis and analysis. The system is meant to speed up testing of AI-designed drug candidates and cut repetitive lab work.
- The platform runs around the clock without human input
- Robots and light automate synthesis and analysis of compounds
- Goal is faster screening of AI-designed drug candidates
