Striding AI unveils H1 and C1 robots for 24/7 convenience stores

Beijing startup Striding AI showed a robot system for round-the-clock convenience stores at APRCE 2026: the bipedal H1 and wheeled C1 with arms, plus the M1 management platform. Commercial service is planned for 2027, sold outright or as a Robotics-as-a-Service subscription.

• H1 speaks 20+ languages and shows 45 facial expressions and 36 gestures
• C1 works in narrow aisles, reaches from 100 mm to over 1,750 mm and stops within 10 cm of obstacles
• Its SLM-0.5 model scored 98.6% average task success on the LIBERO benchmark
• The company claims zero retrofit: no changes to store shelves or walkways
