Liquid Swords shuts down after Samson release

Swedish studio Liquid Swords, founded by Christofer Sundberg, is closing after bankruptcy. Samson's PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions sold better than the PC release but not enough to save the company; all 27 employees are being let go.

• Samson launched on PC in April and on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in September
• Console sales were notably better than PC but did not save the studio
