Meta pulled ad over the word 'pregnancy,' founder claims

BellaMoon founder Irene Breen told the BBC that Instagram removed her pregnancy pillow ads in January 2025 and that Meta flagged the word "pregnancy" as the problem. She had to scrub the term from product names and URLs, and restrictions were lifted only after 10 months of talks. Meta says the word itself is allowed but health-related ads face limits.
