Impinj pitches RAIN RFID as real-time data source for enterprise AI

Impinj outlined its Physical Intelligence strategy, positioning battery-free RAIN RFID tags as a way to feed enterprise AI real-time data on physical goods. The company says it has connected more than 160 billion items cumulatively and cites potential volumes of 3 trillion food packages and 400 billion parcels a year.
