Spotify tightens Family plan address checks with in-person QR scans

Spotify now requires Family plan members to verify their address in person via a dynamic QR code scan. Unverified users have seven days before being moved to the Free tier and banned from joining Family or Duo plans for 12 months. Subscribers are bypassing the check by screen-sharing between devices.
