US teens can download 'nudify' apps despite parental controls, report finds

Tech Transparency Project created test accounts posing as 13-year-olds on Apple and Google and downloaded 135 apps with features to generate nonconsensual nude imagery or swap faces. Many apps were rated suitable for ages 4+ or 9+ and required no parental approval, and a subscription was purchased without alerting the linked parental account.
