Meshy Edit changes one part of a 3D model from a text prompt and sends it to the slicer
Meshy has launched Meshy Edit, a tool that lets users select a region of a 3D model, describe a change in text and get a new model in about a minute, ready for slicing. It became available on October 16, 2026 to all registered users at 20 credits per edit and supports only high-poly models from Meshy 6 and 7.1.
- An edit takes about a minute and costs 20 credits
- Only Meshy 6 and 7.1 high-poly models are supported; textures are not edited
- Results can be sent to Bambu Studio, Snapmaker, Flash Studio and xTool Studio
- Each edit creates a new version while the source model is preserved
