Antigravity 2 hands-on: Google ships an IDE-less agent chat app
Google released Antigravity 2, a standalone desktop command center for AI agents without a code editor. It replaces workspaces with multi-directory projects, adds local and worktree modes, slash commands like /btw and /grill-me, and skill bundles for web, Android and science work. Only Gemini, Claude and GPT models are supported.
- Antigravity 2 is a chat-centric app with no editor or debugger
- Projects can span multiple directories with isolated settings
- Worktree mode creates a separate Git worktree per conversation
- Only Gemini, Claude and GPT models are available
