Volcano Engine Pays Up to ¥200,000 for Seedance AI Dramas on Hongguo

ByteDance's Volcano Engine launched a Seedance incentive program for creators of fully AI-made short dramas and comics published on the Hongguo app. The first application window closes January 31, 2027, with tiered rewards of up to ¥200,000 for top-ranked titles.

• Rewards: ¥200,000 for ranks 1–10, ¥100,000 for 11–20 and ¥50,000 for 21–50
• Each payout is split evenly between cash and vouchers for Volcano Ark API or creative tools
• Over half of the video must be generated with Seedance 2.5; live-action shoots are excluded
• Winners face checks of generation logs and original assets
