Infineon extends Wolfspeed deal to 8-inch silicon carbide wafers

Infineon Technologies has secured 8-inch silicon carbide (SiC) wafers from Wolfspeed under an expanded and extended long-term supply agreement. The deal gives the German chipmaker another source of larger substrates as it converts its SiC fabs to the bigger wafer size.
