Panchovix tools load modified VBIOS on RTX GPUs without flashing
Developer Panchovix released three tools that let GeForce RTX 30/40/50 owners run a modified VBIOS without writing to the card's flash chip. The editor changes power, voltage and OCP limits plus offset ranges; Windows loads the image via a driver registry key, while Linux patches NVIDIA's open kernel modules.
- RTX 5090 FE power ceiling raised from 600 W to 700 W, voltage from 1110 to 1150 mV
- RTX 4090: power ceiling from 666 W to 750 W, core offset range doubled to +2000 MHz
- In testing RTX 5080 went from 360 W to 500 W, RTX 5060 Ti from 185 W to 300 W
- Laptop RTX 40 GPUs and memory timings cannot be edited yet
