Workday opens 329 MCP tools for AI agents in HR and payroll

Workday launched its Trusted Agent Platform with 329 MCP tools (275 read, 54 write/delete) across Core HR, Financials, Workforce Management, Payroll and Recruiting. Each request is bound to the user's permissions, but pre-execution validation against tenant policies (Grounded Reasoning) is only in early access in early 2027.
