Slack to add voice conversations with Slackbot

At Dreamforce 2026, Slack announced Slackbot updates: natural-language voice dialogue with action execution, Surface interface creation, and video and presentation generation. No release dates were given; features are marked as coming soon.

• Slackbot will be able to respond by voice and perform actions on request
• Surface feature creates interactive interfaces for workflows
• Video and presentation generation will be added inside Slack
• Slackbot can be mentioned in channels for team collaboration
