Porsche patents automatic gearbox that switches to manual with a button

Porsche has filed a patent for an automatic transmission with a shift lever and third pedal that switches between automatic, sequential and manual modes. In manual mode the lever follows a 6-speed H-pattern and the pedal simulates a clutch, built on Porsche's PDK twin-clutch hardware.
