A Tesla owner posted video of FSD taking over to avoid hitting a curb, with Tesla AI lead Ashok Elluswamy calling it a "guardian angel." Automatic Collision Evasion shipped with FSD v14.3.9 in update 2026.27.6 and runs only on HW4 cars with an active FSD subscription and AEB enabled.
