CrUX now counts SPA soft navigations

Since October 13, the Chrome UX Report has been publishing experimental Core Web Vitals that include soft navigations in single-page apps. The new LCP, INP and CLS fields are available in BigQuery, the CrUX API and the History API, while stable scores and Search Console remain unchanged.

• Three new fields: experimental LCP, INP and CLS with soft navigations
• About 70% of CrUX origins have fewer than 5% soft navigations
• Among the top 1,000 sites, 35% on Android and 42% on desktop rely on them for over half of page views
• A soft navigation requires a user action, a URL change and a visible paint
