FSSAI issues show-cause notices to BigBasket, Flipkart over misleading oil claims

India's FSSAI has sent show-cause notices to BigBasket, Flipkart and manufacturer Gemini Edibles & Fats India for promoting Freedom Cooking Rice Bran Oil with unapproved cholesterol-related health claims. Gemini was also accused of selling food via its own website without a valid central e-commerce licence.
