Delhi HC issues notices in Kangana Ranaut, Vijay Deverakonda personality rights suits
The Delhi High Court has issued summons and notices in two suits filed by actors Kangana Ranaut and Vijay Deverakonda to protect their personality rights. Deverakonda seeks removal of deepfakes, AI-generated content, fake endorsement sites and unauthorised merchandise from Meta, X, Google, Flipkart, Amazon, Meesho and Redbubble; hearings are set for February 2 and 3, 2027. The court questioned claims over satirical content and issued no interim order yet.
