Delhi HC amicus: profiting from a celebrity's image alone not grounds for takedown
Amicus curiae Gautam Bhatia told the Delhi High Court that making money from a celebrity's image should not by itself justify ordering platforms to remove content. He proposed separating commercial and non-commercial claims, testing the former through passing off, copyright and trademark law.
