Delhi HC calls Instagram Remix a "tool for copyright violation"

The Delhi High Court, hearing a suit by Drishti IAS founder Vikas Divyakirti against Meta, criticised Instagram's Remix feature as a tool for copyright infringement. The court ordered removal of fake profiles, deepfakes and full reposts of his lectures, but deferred a ruling on clips with misleading captions that may count as criticism.
