Jeffries: US datacenter capacity additions to reach 18 GW in 2027

Analysts at Jeffries and Aterio forecast 12.9 GW of new North American datacenter IT capacity in 2026 and 18 GW in 2027. About 65 GW is under construction (140% of installed capacity) and another 361 GW has been announced, though many projects will be delayed or canceled.
