Epic releases Easy Anti-Cheat Linux Version 2 and Linux Epic Games Store

Epic Games launched Easy Anti-Cheat Linux Version 2 and full Linux support for the Epic Games Store. The anti-cheat relies on signed kernel modules and Secure Boot instead of invasive kernel-level access, with Fortnite as the first supported title and more games planned.

• EAC Linux Version 2 uses signed kernel modules and requires Secure Boot enabled
• Epic Games Store launcher is available in preview for Windows, macOS and Linux
• Fortnite is the first game supported by the new Linux anti-cheat
• Epic and Valve are collaborating on Steam Deck compatibility
