TrueNAS Proxmox Plugin Automates VM Disks as zvol over iSCSI or NVMe/TCP

TrueNAS released a native plugin for Proxmox VE: VM disks are created as OpenZFS zvols on TrueNAS 25.10+ and published via iSCSI LUN or NVMe/TCP. The plugin manages creation, snapshots, resizing, migration and deletion of volumes from the Proxmox interface. Release is in Early Adopters status, Enterprise support under validation.

• Requires TrueNAS 25.10 or newer; iSCSI on Proxmox VE 8.x, NVMe/TCP on 9.x
• Snapshots run natively in OpenZFS, including snapshots with RAM state
• One dataset and one iSCSI target or NVMe subsystem per Proxmox cluster
• Packages via signed APT repo: Bookworm for VE 8, Trixie for VE 9
