At OCP 2026, the AMD Helios HPE Juniper QFX5252 switch tray was shown assembled: two Broadcom Tomahawk 6 102.6T switch chips in a 1OU liquid-cooled tray with retimers and copper cabling for in-rack scale-up.
- Tray packs two Broadcom Tomahawk 6 switch chips at 102.6T each
- Uses 224G PAM4 SerDes, so Tomahawk Ultra is not sufficient
- Liquid cooling and retimers extend copper reach inside the rack
- Designed for scale-up within the Helios rack, not front-panel scale-out
