OpenAI introduced the Rosalind Academic Plan on October 15, 2026, offering eligible U.S. university labs up to 30 complimentary ChatGPT Business Standard seats for up to 12 months. Access to the life-sciences model GPT-Rosalind requires separate trusted-access approval.
