Tianjin University lab unveils 3-gram non-invasive brain-computer interface
Tianjin University's Haihe Laboratory has unveiled a cube-shaped, fully integrated non-invasive BCI system weighing about 3 grams and occupying roughly 2 cubic centimeters, calling it the smallest and lightest such system to date. It packs EEG electrodes, circuitry, battery and wireless transmission into one unit, samples at 1,000 Hz and runs 8–10 hours per charge, meeting China's GB 9706.226-2021 EEG standard. No pricing or launch date was disclosed.
