Anthropic Gives METR Team Employee-Like Access for Model Evaluation

Anthropic said on October 15, 2026 that six METR employees have been onboarded with company hardware, office space and access to internal tools roughly on par with its own risk assessment teams. METR can publish its analysis of Anthropic's risks without a veto, though Anthropic may require redactions in narrow predefined categories.
