NEC Gives AI Employees Their Own Division With HR and Stress Checks

NEC has created a Corporate AI & Workforce Division where AI agents handle analytical work and manage other agents. Established on August 1 and showcased at CEATEC 2026, the division has four layers: an AI division head, AI board, AI managers and AI employees, with humans retaining final decision authority.
