D-Wave delivers Advantage2 quantum computer to Italy

D-Wave has delivered an Advantage2 quantum computer to Lombardy, Italy. The VoltaB1 system, funded by Swiss Quantum Technology SA under a €10 million ($11.6m) deal announced in October 2025, supports Italy's Q-Alliance initiative. SQT acquired 50 percent of the system's capacity for five years with an option to buy it outright.
