Apple Intelligence finally launches in China in late October — without Siri

Apple has received approval from Chinese regulators to launch Apple Intelligence in China, with a test version due in late October featuring real-time translation, writing tools and photo object removal. Siri's AI features are not part of the first phase. The China model was trained in partnership with Alibaba.
