Sprout mod turns classic iPods into modern players with Bluetooth and Spotify

The Sprout Pico and Sprout Pi are open-source drop-in replacement mainboards based on Raspberry Pi RP2350 for 3rd- and 4th-gen iPods and the iPod mini. The solder-free mod adds Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB-C, up to 2TB microSD storage and FLAC/Opus support, while the Pi version enables Spotify and Apple Music streaming. Pricing has not been announced.
