Castlevania: Belmont's Curse out now: Evil Empire balanced Dark Souls and Dead Cells

Evil Empire has released Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, its own take on Konami's series. The studio says it tested slower Dark Souls-style combat and faster Dead Cells pacing before finding a middle ground. Within hours of launch the game hit a Steam concurrent peak of 17,896 players.
