Samsung unveils compact 256TB BM1773 SSD for AI data centers

At the GMIF 2026 forum in Shenzhen, Samsung introduced the BM1773 and PM1763 enterprise SSDs. The BM1773 is a QLC drive up to 256TB in E3.S form factor with PCIe 5.0 and reads up to 4.5GB/s, while the PM1763 is a PCIe 6.0 SSD up to 64TB with 28.4GB/s reads. Samsung also announced V10 NAND with over 400 layers and zNAND-O for running large AI models locally.
