BYD confirms Inokom as local CKD assembly partner in Malaysia

BYD has officially named Sime Motors' Inokom Corporation as its local CKD assembly partner in Malaysia after signing an MoU at BYD's Shenzhen headquarters. Assembly will take place at Inokom's Kulim, Kedah plant, which already builds the Chery Omoda E5 and BMW i5. Models and launch timelines were not disclosed.
