Google Messages Gets Gemini-Powered Scam Defense Upgrade

Google announced an enhanced Scam Detection feature for Google Messages that uses cloud Gemini models via Private AI Compute to analyze conversations with unknown senders for scam intent. The opt-in feature rolls out in the coming weeks on Pixel 6 and newer, Galaxy S24 and newer, and other Android AICore devices.
