MeitY has no official data centre records; parliamentary panel seeks verified data

An Indian parliamentary committee found that MeitY keeps no official records on data centre capacity and relies on industry estimates. The panel recommended that the MEA and MeitY collect and publish verified data on capacity, utilisation and growth to guide international investment.
