MeitY seeks suppliers for up to 10,000 AI accelerators under IndiaAI Mission

C-DAC under MeitY has issued a Request for Empanelment (RFE) inviting AI service providers to supply up to 10,000 AI Compute Units (GPUs, TPUs, accelerators). All infrastructure, data and logs must stay in India, with clusters of at least 512 units per data centre.

• RFE allows scaling beyond 10,000 AICU during the empanelment period
• Clusters are sized at 4,000, 1,000 or 512 units, minimum 512 per data centre
• Data, metadata, logs and backups must be stored and processed only in India
