8BitDo Ultimate 2C review: a $30 Switch 2 controller

The 8BitDo Ultimate 2C is a $30 Bluetooth gamepad with Hall effect sticks and triggers, tactile bumpers, six-axis motion and vibration. It lasts 15 hours on a charge via USB-C, though it can't wake the Switch 2.

• Priced at $30 versus $90 for the Switch 2 Pro Controller and $70 for the Ultimate 2
• Hall effect sticks and triggers with a lifetime no-drift guarantee
• Extra mappable buttons on each shoulder
• 15-hour battery, 2-hour USB-C charging; can't wake the Switch 2
