Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen on Switch 2 review: a strong port with a new region
Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen has arrived on Switch 2, marking the game's Nintendo debut with the new icy region of Norgan, new bosses and 12 Lost Rites dungeons. Performance is far better than at launch on PS5, though frame drops and longer load times remain; FSR 3 Frame Generation and a 30fps lock are available.
- New Norgan region adds icy wastes, ruined towns and snowy Ogre and Dragon variants
- 12 Lost Rites dungeons with special restrictions and a suggested level of 20
- Switch 2 version offers FSR 3 Frame Generation, 30fps lock and variable frame rate
- Pawn rift and cutscene load times are noticeably longer than on PS5 Pro
