Chainguard launches Workspaces and Checks to secure AI coding agents

At Assemble London Chainguard announced Workspaces, isolated microVMs for developers and coding agents; Checks, a verification engine that runs inside the agent loop; and expanded Libraries with Go and .NET support. Workspaces and Checks are in beta, while the new Go and .NET Libraries enter Early Access.

• Workspaces gives each agent a separate remote microVM synced with the local working tree
• Real credentials are replaced by encrypted, short-lived substitutes outside the workspace
• Checks returns structured failure logs in seconds and issues a signed attestation
• Libraries adds malware scanning and CVE remediation for Go, .NET and JavaScript
